Q. How much are your site fees?
A. £2,300 per year
Q. What other costs are involved?
A. The site fees include VAT, Council Rates, Water and Sewage Rates. The only other charges are the Annual Electric Supply Maintenance Charge which is £40 plus VAT and an obligatory Gas Safety Inspection made on your caravan by us for £45.00 plus VAT.
Q. How long can I keep my caravan on site?
A. As long as your holiday home is kept to an acceptable standard it can be kept on site until its 20 years old.
Q. I already have a holiday home at another park. Can I bring it onto South Meadows?
A. We do allow a limited number of bring ons subject to age and condition.
Q. Are you closed in the winter?
A. We are open for 12 months but your holiday home must be used for holiday use only, it cannot become your permanent residence.
Q. Can I let my van out?
A. No commercial letting is allowed, however, you can allow your friends and family to use your holiday home.
Q. If I buy a holiday home would you be willing to buy it back from me in the future if I wanted to sell?
A. Normally we would be willing to offer to buy it from you outright at a fair market value subject to condition.
Q. Will you consider a trade in?
A. Yes we will consider taking in static caravans and touring caravans as a trade in.
Q. Do you have fully serviced pitches?
A. Yes we can offer fully serviced pitches along with grass pitches with electrical hook up.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes as long as they are kept under control and you pick up after them.
Q. Do you offer seasonal pitches for tourers?
A. Yes we offer 6, 7 & 8 month options alongside yearly pitches
Q. Do you have a modern toilet block facility?
A. Yes, our facility includes free hot showers, waste disposal, washing up area and a laundry room.
Q. What is Park & Store?
A. Park and Store is a service we offer to our storage customers. Where requested we can take your caravan out of storage and have it ready on a pitch for your arrival. When you leave we return your caravan to storage. This service is free and takes the hassle and expense of towing your caravan every time you fancy a weekend break.
Q. Will you park my caravan/boat when I arrive?
A. Yet just drop your caravan/boat at reception and we will do the rest just let us know when you are looking to drop it off.
Q. Does my caravan have to be insured?
A. Your caravan/boat must be insured while it is with us. Your insurance company may insist on security hitch lock etc. which we will fit if requested.
Q. Is my caravan/boat safe?
A. We offer a fully secure yard with palisade fencing. Indoor storage is fully alarmed and we have staff that live onsite.
Q. How much notice do I need to give you to collect or drop off?
A. Usually 24 hours. We are open 7 days a week. We can offer an out of hours service upon request.
Q. Do you offer Service and Repair?
A. Yes we can offer a range of services including Gas Tests and panel/window repairs etc.
Q. Can I get access to my caravan/boat when I want?
A. Yes during opening hours. We just need you to come to reception and sign in and then when you’re finished sign out again.
Q. Can I wash my caravan/boat before it is stored?
A. Yes we have an area you can use to flush outboard engines or wash your vehicle.
