New Developments

We are constantly looking at ways that we can improve our site and make a positive impact on our local environment. We take our obligations to sustainability seriously and have undertaken a significant investment in solar panels to provide daytime electricity. We are also undertaking a number of other environmentally friendly projects.

All developments are planned and undertaken in a way which ensures that they are sympathetic and complementary to our location and environment.

Some current developments are:

1. Holiday Home Development

South Meadows are proud to announce that the new development for the static caravan park is well on its way to completing phase one.  The new road system has now been tarmacked with new signs being printed as we write this.

The development takes full advantage of the sunny outlook of the park which makes it ideal for outdoor living on your veranda or decking.

2. New Laundry Facilities

Brand new for this season state of the art washing and drying machines have been installed in the refurbished laundry room.

The new machines are coin operated and under a fully managed service agreement from an independent managing company.

3. Refurbished Family Shower Rooms

Here at South Meadows we have always been proud to offer high standard toilet and shower facilities.  We are now able to offer new showers with the added bonus of free luxury body and hair shampoo.

4.  New Playdale Play Park Now OPEN!

Brand new for the spring, we can offer an adventure playground for the children. Catering for all ages the new playground will offer a ‘New Wave’ slide and climbing frame, ‘Little Hamlet Tottlebank’ slide, ‘Mega Swing’, ‘Junior Swing’, Aerial Runway’ and a ‘Cradle Swing’.

Great care has been taken in selecting each piece of equipment with regard to the Health and Safety of all those that will be using the play park.

5. New Improved Super Pitches

The super pitches to the rear of the park have now been redeveloped and are now indeed super! All the drainage has been improved along with a new self-draining base for your awning to sit on.  Each pitch has an 8m by 5m base with electric hook up, water connection and grey matter waste removal.

6. Solar Panels For Daytime Electricity

In an effort to maintain our green ethos solar panels have been installed on the storage barn roof.  The benefit to our Seasonal and Static customers is that we have been able to substantially reduce the cost of an electricity unit.
